Imperial Tobacco’s best-selling JPS ‘Silver’ range has been extended with the launch of JPS Silver Superkings 10s and 20s and JPS Blue Superkings 10s.

Amy Kiss, Head of Consumer Marketing at Imperial Tobacco, said; “Launched in 2008, the JPS ‘Silver’ range contains some of the best-selling economy-priced cigarettes available in the UK. Retail sales are increasing month on month and JPS is fast becoming the preferred brand amongst adult smokers, looking for a quality cigarette from a trusted name at a fantastic price point.

“The economy-priced sector of the cigarette market is in significant growth, around 8% year on year, as increasing numbers of tobacco shoppers seek value from their purchases.  Over 47% of cigarettes in the economy-priced sector, sold by retailers, are above King Size and the three new JPS Superkings SKUs are perfectly positioned to meet the ever-evolving preferences of the UK adult smoker.

“The three new SKUs carry the recently refreshed global pack design, which brought a dynamic twist to the brand’s elegant and understated style. Imperial Tobacco will continue to invest in the JPS brand and we pride ourselves on providing high quality, relevant products which significantly contribute to UK retailers’ turnovers.”

The JPS ‘Silver’ range now includes JPS King Size Blue, JPS King Size Silver, JPS King Size Menthol, JPS King Size White, JPS Superkings Blue, JPS Superkings Menthol and JPS Superkings Silver.
