PICTORIAL HEALTH WARNINGS NOW LAW ON CIGARETTES

Since October 2009 it has been illegal for retailers to sell cigarettes without new colour pictorial health warnings on the reverse of the pack.

Three of these new warnings are coloured text and should not be confused with the previous black and white warnings.

To help members identify legal packs we have joined forces with Imperial Tobacco to produce new guidelines.  Click here for more information.

You have until September 2010 to sell through all cigars, pipes and RYOs that do not contain PHWs
