NFRN AWARDS - NOMINATE YOUR NEWS DELIVERER TODAY
The NFRN Awards are your opportunity to give your news deliverers the recognition they so richly deserve for dedication, loyalty and customer service. If you have an outstanding news deliverer make sure you submit a nomination for them.
News Deliverer of the Year This Award is presented for outstanding commitment, service and customer care.
News Deliverer Merit Award These two Awards are for public service. Nominations for these Award should be accompanied by a customer endorsement.
And don't just nominate your paperboys and girls. There is still time to submit entries for the following Awards if you have not already done so. Remember you can nominate colleagues and fellow members or enter in your own right.
Independent Newspaper Retailer of the Year: Do you demonstrate a real commitment to developing news sales. What have you done to create additional sales and add innovation in this area?
Independent Magazine Retailer of the Year: How have you developed magazine sales in your store? What innovative activity have you undertaken to achieve this?
Independent Community Retailer of the Year: What positive steps have you taken to develop your role in the community and ensure you are at the heart of your neighbourhood?
Members’ Employee of the Year: This Award recognises a staff member who has made an outstanding contribution to the store through demonstrating exceptional customer service.
Finalists and winners from previous Awards have received major regional press coverage, so submitting a nomination on your own behalf, or on the behalf of somebody else, could lead to recognition not only from associates within the Federation, but also from the wider community.
Entries close on Tuesday, September 1, with judging to be held on September 10. Shortlisted entrants will be published in the October edition of The Fed. Nomination forms are available here or from your RDM
