NORTH WEST DISTRICT GOES TO DOGS!
The North West District has gone to the dogs – sponsoring one of the races at a recent Greyhound Race Night organised by Newstraid.
Among those attending from the district were president Shumaila Malik and her husband Aamir, Elsie Lowe, Shaz Naz and Nigel Chadwick together with their partners.
This latest activity came hot on the heels of the first North West Ten Pin Bowling Challenge which was organised by the Stockport and Macclesfield Branch and saw two teams of members taking on Smiths News, Booker and the MEN and the branch taking part. Winners were Smiths News, Stockport. It is hoped that this will become an annual event.
