PRICE DROP FOR WINDSOR BLUE
Imperial Tobacco has announced that with effect from July 1 the recommended retail prices (RRPs) for the Windsor Blue range will be reduced.
Imperial says this is part of its continuing commitment to providing adult smokers with quality brands at competitive prices.
Iain Watkins, UK trade communications manager said: “The price reposition of Windsor Blue will ensure we are proactive in meeting our customers’ preference for lower-priced products.
“Whilst retailers remain free to set their own tobacco prices at all times, to remain competitive and offer adult smokers the best possible prices in the market, we would encourage all retailers to pass on this price reduction to their customers as soon as possible.”
A special promotion will be run throughout July on price marked Windsor Blue packs which will be available at: £2.17/£4.30 (10/20 King Size) and £2.20/£4.35 (10/20 Superkings).
After this promotion price marked packs will move to £2.20/£4.35 (10/20 King Size) and £2.23/£4.40 (10/20 Superkings).
