CADBURY CREME EGG TWISTED CELEBRATES NUMBER ONE SALES SUCCESS

Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted has become the number one chocolate confectionery countline across all channels in the latest four weeks, reaching value sales of £6.3 million since its launch in May.

Kate Harding, Trade Communications Manager at Cadbury, comments: “We are delighted that Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted has become the number one selling countline over the latest four weeks. When it was launched in May, we felt confident that it would be a success as it meets the consumer desire for Creme Egg “goo” year round. We would like to extend our thanks to those who used the impactful POS. This has been fully embraced by retailers, as you can see from the results, and has driven great in-store trial rates.”

POS and merchandising material available from Cadbury included items such as Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted counter units, branded T-Shirts for staff and branded bunting to create maximum impact in-store.

Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted will now need to move onto main confectionery fixtures from the feature display units, and Cadbury would advise retailers to double face between Cadbury Double Decker and Cadbury Boost.
