BOOKER REWARDS NFRN WITH OVER £140,000
02-Mar-10
The first year of the exclusive trading partnership between the NFRN and Booker, the UK’s leading food & drink wholesaler, has been tremendously successful.
It has led to the NFRN receiving over £140,000 thanks to more members shopping with Booker. Steve Fox, Sales Director – Retail, presented a cheque for £142,287 to National President Suleman Khonat and Graeme Collins, head of marketing and business development at the NFRN.

The agreement focuses on being a profitable partnership for independent retailers as when members increase their spend with Booker, the NFRN then receives more money back. To help members, Booker has provided exclusive events, specific promotions and support and advice at CTN World.
“We are pleased to be supporting the NFRN and helping them to continue to develop the independent retailing sector,” said Steve Fox, Sales Director - Retail. “This partnership can deliver real benefits for each member, with the support and experience of Booker. This includes exclusive own-brands, such as Euro Shopper, low cash & carry prices and free, seven day delivery. Members can also benefit from up to 4% discount through ‘Spend & Save,’ free credit and debit card payments and also have the convenience of shopping on-line. By NFRN members taking advantage of these products and services, it means the organisation will earn more money back. Although this is a great achievement, I am confident that this total can increase, as more and more members shop with Booker to grow their business.”
